Let’s face it—the wine scene has been shifting big time. The younger generations are skipping the booze, or if they do have a drink, it’s all about mocktails, spritzers, and other options with less alcohol. And others are limiting drinking due to health reasons. With these new drinking habits, many wineries have way too much wine sitting around. They’re even tearing out vineyards and scrambling to find new ways to keep money coming in.

All this extra wine means you can score some killer deals. Seriously, you might find bottles for as much as 50-75% off their old prices. I’ve got three online shops saved as my go-tos in my browser, making it super easy to grab some awesome new finds for my wine stash.
Last Bottle
Last Bottle features one deal on its home page each day until it sells out. Free shipping is available based on a minimum purchase. For example, a $19.99 bottle may require a purchase of four. It’s a great way to stock up for a party or go in with a friend or two if you’re only looking for one or two bottles.
Several times a year, Last Bottle features its Marathon Madness event, which is like a game of chance. Rather than one deal per day, it rotates bottles at breakneck speed. As soon as you see a bottle appear that you like, put it in your cart as fast as your fingers will let you and check out. For this event, there are no minimums for free shipping, so you can easily build a mixed case or two of great wines. It typically goes on for a few days and after it ends, all your bottles are shipped together for free. The downside is that it takes a couple of months to receive your wine, so you can’t be in a hurry.
Wines ‘Til Sold Out (WTSO)
WTSO has an extensive network of wineries and wine makers, connecting customers to thousands of brands from top wine appellations around the globe. The site rotates limited-time flash deals on the home page and shipping works similarly to Last Bottle, based on a minimum purchase.
WTSO also has a Last Chance page where you can get amazing deals. For example, I recently grabbed a Washington Cab that retails for $75 for a mere $22.99. Like Last Bottle, WTSO has marathon events that rotate deals that require fast action, however, minimums still apply to get free shipping.
Vivino
Vivino is perhaps the most widely known online retailer and more comprehensive than WTSO and Last Bottle, which focus more on sales. Vivino combines education, recommendations, community engagement, and sales all on one platform. It offers both free and paid services.
